A Friends Review

I don’t put every review of any of my books on a blog or a Facebook post.  I’d like to, but I don’t.  I did want to share the following comments from an old friend, who just recently got around to reading The Judas Sword.  It was so funny and sweet that I wanted to share it.  As I’ve mentioned before, I don’t have an agent or publisher, and that means I’m the ONLY person promoting my book.  And that means my potential audience is only as large as the people who share my book with others – word-of-mouth being the primary means through which my book is publicized.  It’s exciting to me to hear about someone being excited about my book and telling others about it.  The second book in my series about Matt Zampolos should be out next month, and it’s my hope many more people will hear about this story.  With that in mind, here’s a fun review from my old friend Lola-Margaret

“Mike, Mike, Mike! I will not presume that you have been waiting eagerly to hear that I have read The Judas Sword.  Probably you may not remember that I even bought it, but I did and took it on our long trip out west this past September and October.  It was my intent to read it then, but Bill took possession of it.  He never reads anything but the serious stuff, but when he finished the book on Leviticus that he had brought along…well, let’s just say, for him, he was desperate. Then he couldn’t put it down.  It was hard for me to get a handle on his take on it.  He didn’t want to spoil it for me, but he would just keep saying, ‘This is crazy!’ or something else along that line!!! Those were remarks of compliment in his own way! Finally, during my recent recovery from foot surgery I got the opportunity to read it. Just finished it last night. I was blown away the entire book. What creativity, or is it a warped mind! LOL! I loved it. I have to know did you have this book all figured out in your mind before you put pen to paper, or did it just unfold as your genius mind took the journey?  Whatever, congratulations on a great one.  What’s next?”

The Perspicacious Quandary should be out, Lord willing, next month.  I hope to post the Back Cover of the new book next week, so you can read about the story line.
